Polska Niepodległa – 100 lat “Ludzie I miejsca”

W budynku parlamentu otwarto w środę 13.06 uroczyście wystawę z okazji rocznicy polskiej niepodległości. Przemawiała pani ambasador Jolanta Janek, marszałek Anglu Farrugia, wprowadzenia dokonała Maria.Cutajar.

 

Wśród dostrzeżonych mym orlim wzrokiem gości wymienię Min. Spraw Zagranicznych i Promocji Inwestycji Zagranicznych C.Abela, Amb. USA - G. Kathleen Hill , nowy konsul honorowy H.Spiteri, lider opozycji A.Delia, G.Gulia szef Departamentu Turystyki, poseł G.Farrugia, vip'y , nasi Salezjanie od Don     Bosco. Była też Polonia, prasa, pianistka.

Wystawa to faktyczne 3 tematy ' Józef Piłsudski' odznaczony orderem Wielki Krzyż Baliwów Dewocyjnych i Honorowych Kawalerów Maltańskich, 'Polska – UNESCO' oraz 'Bezczas i Moment – architektura narzędziem budowy tożsamości narodowej ' . Jest tu m.in. MS Batory – łączył on MT/PL o czym szczegółowo wkrótce napiszę, były konsul honorowy jest tu 'wkręcony' przez śrubę nomen omen okrętową ;-)

Część artystyczną zapewniła nam Joanna Kacperek (lista osiągnięć długa na pięć internetów a ma li tylko 23 wiosen), plumkała niemożliwielebnie na krokodylu nuty z Chopina – nokturny, waltze, polonezy (każdy rozpozna Polonaise No. 1 in C-sharp minor, Op. 26 No. 1 ) oraz Paderewskiego kilka drobiażdżków (Humoresques de concert, Minuet in G, Op. 14/1 Sarabanda) ...łzy płynęły mi ciurkiem do szklaneczki z napojem mocno ożeż-TY-wiającym i zraszały hors d'oeuvre tuńczyk i inksze frutti di mare com je pałaszował.

W kuluarach toczyły się rozmowy na szczeblu, bezszelestni kelnerzy donosili canapé oraz apéritif &digestif , trzaskały flesze, wymieniano się BusinessCard, taksowano exibity, nawiązywano stosunki ...

Zaraz ? Niepodległość to my w listopadzie mamy, mospanie ! Wyjaśnienie padło w przemówieniu Speaker'a – Malta walczyła o swoją niepodległość i 7.06 była rocznica Powstania 1918 więc wystawa jest teraz i basta.

Organizator Instituto Polacco Roma. Macie czas do 27.06, wstęp zupełnie wolny i wskazany.

PRESS RELEASE BY THE OFFICE OF THE SPEAKER: Speaker inaugurates an exhibition marking the centenary of Poland regaining independence

“However, in spite of not wanting to forget what our countries had to endure, the divisions imposed by the Cold War are now in the past, and Poland, just like Malta, with its proud history and rich culture, is an intrinsic part of Europe, building a prosperous future as members of the European Union. Having said that, also as members of the European Union, both our countries are also facing challenges such as migration, which is not a problem of a single state but of the union as a whole. This makes it even more crucial to work closer together as a union of nations.” This was stated by Speaker Anġlu Farrugia while addressing those present at the inauguration of the exhibition marking the centenary of Poland regaining independence.

In his concluding remarks, the Speaker said that in today’s Europe, Europeans share fundamental principles and prosperity but we always need to keep in mind that these have only come about as a result of the sacrifices of those who came before us, and thus one can never take peace and prosperity for granted.

Members of the public are invited to view the exhibition marking ‘The Centenary of Regaining Independence of Poland: People and Places’ in the foyer of the House of Representatives, Parliament of Malta, up until Wednesday 27 June 2018
