     Obchodzony po raz 58 w 2022 roku z dość skormnymi uroczystościami, czy to może wynika z faktu że to była taka połowiczna ? W końcu nic się nie zmieniło. Nadal Elżbieta II była sovreginem. Nadal imperialne wojska miały tu swoją flotę i nadal większość prac zależała od kaprysu kolonizatora.  Do dzś mundury wojsk są brytolskie  ...

10 lat później zdetronizowano EII i uroczystości 13.12. są już bardziej okazałe - wręczenie medlali zasługi przez prezydenta, w pałacu i salw na głownym placu stolicy tylko sam pomnik jest skromniutki i wciśnięty z boku przystanku autobusowego w Marsa - więc nikt tam nie dociera z wyjątkiem prezydenta i kamery tv.

Nawet limuzyna dla prezydenta to się ostała po gubernatorach - Princess się nazywa. 

Jest wolne - pogoda nadal piękna więc czas na pikinik.

09.15 Arrival of the Deputy Chief Commander of the Armed Forces of Malta. 

09.20 Arrival of the Acting Prime Minister. 

09.25 Arrival of the President of Malta. National salute and inspection of the Guard of Honour takes place. 

09.30 Pontifical Mass which will be broadcast LIVE on TVM 

10.40 The Guard of Honour and the Band of the Armed Forces of Malta take their place next to the Independence monument. 

10.50 Arrival of the Deputy Commander of the Armed Forces of Malta. 

10.56 Arrival of the Leader of the Opposition. 

10.58 Arrival of the Acting Prime Minister. 

11.00 Arrival of the President of Malta. The President of Malta, the Acting Prime Minister and the Leader of the Opposition place wreaths on the monument. 

20.00 Concert by the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of Mro. Alan Chircop, at the Manoel Theatre, Valletta, which will be broadcast LIVE on TVM News+.
